the finest void-free baltic birch plywood and quality
high pressure laminates, double-walled corner
extrusions and positive tongue and groove valances.
Steel rivets are placed at all critical stress-bearing
locations and backed up with steel washers to ensure a
lifetime of use. Alloy rivets specially designed to grip in
wood are used to join panels to extrusions.

In an effort to compete with imported cases I have structured
the trunk pricing with razor thin margins. Why buy an
imported trunk when you can get a top notch American made
one for a few bucks more. They are available in a myriad of
colors, at no additional charge in most cases, which most if
not all import cases are not. How about warranty? I have seen
little or no warranty offered on the imports. If one of my cases
fails (haven't yet) you will receive immediate repair or
replacement. When your import has crumbled beyond repair
my cases will keep touring. These trunks are not scaled down
cheaped out versions - they are built exactly the same as all
others with materials acquired in the USA none of which are
being manufactured anywhere in China, Taiwan, etc. Many so
called 3/8" imported cases are not. If you measure the valance
you will find that IT is 3/8", not the wood within the
extrusion. This equates to 1/4" ply + a very thin laminate - in
some cases the laminate being nothing more than contact
vinyl. Most import cases have no or maybe one rivet in their
valances.(tongue and groove) I don't know about you but I've
seen those pieces ripped clean off a case. Many of these cases
also feature pretty chrome corners. The first time it gets
banged into another corner it will dent in like tin. Anyway -
you get the idea. The import case business has and is hurting
domestic case builders. Try to buy American. One of these
trunks will outlast about any import case you care to mention
by at least 3 times. Buy once and be happy.
